Liability Insurance.

Liability insurance is obligatory for all commercial trucks for most states, and operating without it may result in big penalties.

Liability insurance covers the expenses for injuries to another person and/or property damage caused by an accident in which you’re at fault. Property damage and bodily injury liability coverage are always included in a driver’s liability insurance policy.

Insurance coverage for bodily injury (BI) covers the expenses if you’re at fault for an accident that results in another person being hurt or even killed. Pain and suffering, long-term care, medical and rehabilitation bills, lost earnings, and other expenditures are all covered by bodily injury (BI) up to the limitations of your choice.

Damage to another person’s property is covered under the Property Damage (PD) section of your Liability insurance if you cause an accident. Property Damage covers the expenses of repair or replacement of damaged goods, including other lamp posts, vehicles and residences, up to the limits of your choice.
